Business Bandwidth Service Types and Levels
Full T1 broadband circuit consists of a bandwidth speed of 1.544 Mbps and is either completely dedicated solely to Internet connections but can be dedicated to ISDN and PRI. The dedicated T-1 network can be used however to utilize IP PBX or SIP Trunking. We can help you decide if this is the best decision for your business.
Bonded T1 (NXT1) allows the bonding of more than one T1 Internet circuit of up to 30 Mbps giving an excellent alternative to a more costly T3 connection and increases reliability of connectivity. This of course depends on projected growth of your business needs and we will need to see what situation is more suitable through a consultation.
Burstable T1 is a flexible option for T-1 access affording lower costs if the allocated bandwidth is never exceeded. You would want this connection type if you have a frequent average of bandwidth allocation but need additional at higher intervals of unpredicted traffic surges. You will pay a premium price from service providers, but it is worth it for many businesses.
Point-to-Point T-1 allows for private transfer of T1 Internet data or voice between two or more depending on the configuration and amount of locations. This option gives unlimited usage for one flat rate however it can be cost prohibitive for some operations so be sure to fill out our quote form to get an accurate price.
Fractional T1 gives a business with a smaller budget fast and reliable Internet without having to utilize a full T-1. Of course with fractional you do not get all of the bandwidth as you would with a full.
