Will New Cell Phone Radiation Law Affect Sales?
How Will San Francisco’s Cell Phone Law Change Sales?
San Francisco’s board of supervisors have just passed a law requiring manufacturers of cell phones to display the levels of radiation emitted from the devices. This will be the first time a ordinance of this magnitude has been passed that actually may affect the mobile phone industry negatively.
Unlike the driving laws that were passed, this law targets the way the phones are designed. The mobile industry has every right to be worried. California and San Francisco have been known to pass laws that eventually translate into a Nationwide following.
I believe this law is actually good for consumer rights and the cell phone manufacturers. This will force the cell phone companies to create “safer” designs and perhaps put a boost into newer technologies that can pass down to our laptop screens, our television sets, and other electronic devices. While studies are inconclusive on the health risks, if consumers are going to be putting something against their bodies for over 12 hours a day, they should know the magnitude of emissions, I believe.
Some argue that this new law will confuse consumers more than inform. I think these fears are unfounded though. Have consumers reduced their use of motorized vehicles due to the fact our planet very well could end because of it, our very existence? Have smokers quit smoking because of the warnings on the packaging? Have people quit buying toys with chocking hazards in their house because one of the children are a toddler? NO.
The immediate effect of this law however does not look too appetizing for stock holders or the companies manufacturing the cell phones (short-term 2 years). Long-term should be business as usual in my opinion though.
So the question is:
Will Consumers be Bold and Ignore These Posted Radiation Levels?
Will The Current Radiation Reducing Devices Sold Online See a Boost in Sales?
Will The Industry Be Forced to Start Adopting New Radiation Reduction Technologies?
What is your opinion about the new cell phone law? We would love to hear about it! Post your responses here. There is no need to sign up to post on this blog.

Post Jobs for Free
Employers, Recruiters, & HR Post Tech and Telecom Jobs for Free
Yes, you can post jobs related to information technology and telecommunications for free through our new classifieds site. Before you think to yourself that this is just another random site with tons of irrelevant listings, think again. This classifieds page is dedicated exclusively to jobs requiring I.T. skills and for employers seeking those skills.
Now you may be thinking there has to be a catch to this free thing, well there isn’t. I have been watching the jobless rates go up as HR and employers spend money trying to find qualified prospects to fill their job positions instead of better building their business or funding employee needs. I believe every little bit counts and I hope I am doing my part.
In order for everyone to benefit I am going to need everyone’s participation. All you need to do is register and start posting all of your available positions in relation to technology and telecom. This includes sales and marketing positions available for the industry.
If you are a job seeker looking for a tech job or telecom job you can just as easily post your resume in the “wanted” section and have potential employers review your qualifications.
I look forward to helping the community here. Right now every post is zero, so here is the added incentive. The first employment listing poster will have the opportunity to be mentioned and quoted in the press release announcing this new feature on our site which will be featured in Google News! The first to email pr@topsavings.net with the subject “Posted Classified” will be the winner of this promotion.
Post your employment offer here http://topsavings.net/telecom-jobs/

T1 Voice PRI ISDN PSTN Special Pricing
This post is going to be short and sweet but it has to be shared with the business community ASAP. Right now we are offering the lowest rates on top provider connectivity for T1 PRI voice services including ISDN and PSTN. At this time we have decided to lower our broker percentage for all providers passing these savings on to you.
Knowing most brokers and the scale rates they are willing to go, we know we are going to be beating these prices across the board. You will not be finding these rates from the providers themselves and we are sure no brokers as well. In short, if you are looking for T1 voice services and are looking for bulk rate long distance, right now is the time to submit your information at our Business Phone Service page and get a quote before we scale back up for higher profits.
Right now we are offering no minimums on call volume traffic for our specialized rates. We cannot show you our prices here because our competition will most surely be trying to beat our rates. We need to compete for your business effectively and cannot do so with full disclosure in this post.
Additionally to our special T1 voice PRI rates, you may qualify for free PBX equipment depending on which provider you end up signing a contract with. Yes, free PBX and/or router equipment.
We hope this offer on T1 voice services can help you into the New Year and help create prosperity for your business. We have many other services and products for voice communications so do not hesitate to fill out our form and see how we can help.
Sincerely, Aaron Siegel CEO TopSavings.NetDroid Phone Helping Beat AT&T
While AT&T is expecting some impressive new quarterly revenues with help from Apple Inc.with their AT&T driven products Kindle Reader and the iPhone, the Droid Motorola phone offered by Verizon is allowing the competition gap to start closing in.
While the iPhone sales still will be higher than the Droid phone in quarterly sales, the Droid is still looking at an impressive 1 million sales of it’s phones for the first quarter.
What I find exciting about this news is that we will obviously be seeing many new phone technologies emerge to keep a competitive lead from the manufacturers and better deals down the road by the carriers. That is gravy as it can get for smartphone fans!
As long as Verizon and AT&T battle, we all should ultimately be looting the spoils of this war. Whole family plans with free smartphones, I think it may be our future. What do you think?
